Available in both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations, the Peugeot Landtrek pickup truck is powered by a 2.4-liter gasoline engine rated at 210 horsepower and 320 Nm (236 lb.-ft.) sent to the wheel via either a 6-speed Getrag manual or a Punch automatic transmission with the same number of gears. There’s also a 1.9-liter diesel with 150 hp and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) linked exclusively to the aforementioned manual ‘box and available in both 4×2 and 4×4 guises.
The quickest version can do the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 11.2 seconds for the 4×4 gasoline model with the automatic transmission, before maxing out at 110 mph (177 km/h).
Before deployment in other countries, the first launches will be in Latin America and sub-Saharan Africa. Europe is not expected to be included in the scope of the marketing.
