New 2019 Jaguar I-Pace — 400 horsepower all-electric SUV
The British automaker revealed their first fully electric vehicle during a live global broadcast in Graz, Austria, which was presented by recent Brits host, Jack Whitehall and automotive journalist, Jonny Smith.
Clean, safe and smart, the I-Pace delivers sustainable sports car performance, next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) technology and five-seat SUV practicality to place Jaguar at the forefront of the EV revolution.
With a state-of-the-art 90kWh Lithium-ion battery, the I-Pace delivers a range of 480km. Owners will be able to achieve a 0-80 per cent battery charge in just 45 minutes, with 15 minutes charge giving 100km range, using a 100kW DC charger. Home charging with an AC wall box (7kW) will achieve the same state of charge in just over ten hours – ideal for overnight charging.
The high torque density and high-energy efficiency characteristics of the motors deliver sports car performance, launching the I-Pace from a standing start to 100 km/h (62mph) in just 4.8 seconds.
The Jaguar I-Pace is available to order from the 1st March 2018.
